Who We Are And What We Can Offer (An Essay)

"When you absolutely positively have to know, ask a librarian." A famous quotation pinned by the American Library Association. It connotes the idea that a librarian must be well-equipped about anything under the sun and prepared always everytime asked by his/her client. "Ask a librarian", is deceiving. It is both an honor and a responsibility. It is an honor because we are someone whom they can run to, in search for the treasures they wanted to gain. They called us to help them dig to what really is what they really search for. But the other side of the coin lies much greater obstacle each of us must be familiar with: How can we do it?

Librarian. One who is employed in a library. One who familiarized everything in the library. One who manages the library. One who oversees the library. One who is responsible in the library. A depositor of knowledge within the library. But again there lies much greater obstacle each of us must be familiar with: How can we do it?

Who we are? We are soon to be librarians.Several years from now, we will find ourselves working
